Urban Oases: St Paul’s Church, Jewellery Quarter

In the serene heart of Birmingham’s only surviving Georgian square stands St Paul’s, a church so peaceful that you feel wrapped in a blanket of silence inside. In the late weekday afternoon you may well find yourself alone with your thoughts. Make your way up to one of the balconies and perch on a window-seat overlooking the pews below.
